whats the best option?

Any OC better than others?
Who gives most warranty?
Any flashes just for certain models ?

Screen is 1650*1080, looking at teaming it up with a q6600 and a nice chunk of ram

Wow i thought that was just the 3870 xt not the X2 with the blower fan.Glad i got this Gecube now instead of the powercolor for the extra £6 i think it was.

I've got a powercolour myself (referance design) It's a pretty good clocker too, I can hit 920 core 950 mem. I get myself 19.5k in 3D Mark 06 (CPU Limited even with a Q6600 at 3.9Ghz), and all my games are playable maxed out (bar crysis, but it still runs pretty well with everything on high/shaders on very high). I play games at 1920x1200 :)

I had a Powercolour and it reached 932/2250. At the moment I don't think there's much between the reference designs.

Burst my bubble :( :D. Mine is "set" to 930 core, but it's only really 920 or so, to do with that 13mhz increment step in the bios

I've not got my 8-pin cable yet, but my Powercolour has behaved thus far (reference, not extreme). I just did a fresh OS install and I didn't even get the "black screen - wait 20mins" shenanigans.

I've got the powercolour and it does the job marvelously. I'm mostly playing CoD at the mo and I'm happily getting FPS of around 140 with Q6600 at stock. The CPU does bottle neck the card though. To get the most out of it I stick on my OC profile. (on 3.6 at the mo) get a fairly healthy 3dmark score (somewhere above 18k) and it performs really nicely.
