Which 3D Monitor.

I think the Alienware is supposed to be slightly better than the others from what I've read but it's also £120 more.

I got the BenQ but if doing it all again might have gone Asus.

I don't think any monitor can do away with ghosting, it seems impossible on TN panel tech.

Asus is glossy though, which I really am not used to on anything other than a laptop.

Overall the BenQ is good purely for gaming and even video, but has backlight bleeding and you can make out bands of light behind the image in certain situations.

Still its lots better than the 226BW it replaced

This is quite correct. Some can hide it better than others but even the fastest LCD monitors need to use some form of pixel overdrive to achieve the kind of grey-to-grey transition times they do. Regardless of how fast the pixel transition is the inevitable overdrive 'artifacts' are still visible if you look for them (and in some cases if you don't).
