Ok guys not sure which kit to get, the 2 dilemmas im having are pc6400 or pc 8500 and of those 2 different memory speeds. Which of the many kits offers to best performance.

Ill be using either an abit ip35pro or one of the new x38 chipsets if that makes better sense.a q6600 go hopfully clocked to around 3ghz

Not sure how to pick my 4 gig aswell are the 2x2gig kits any good cant say ive used any in the past, or would i be better with 4x1gig sticks

Heres the kits im looking at.(maybe im overlooking some better ram ?)

Now I can see the price of 4 gigs of pc8500, doubles the cost of the most expensive pc6400 is pc8500 really worth that much extra?

sorry for all the questions

to be honest these OCZ modules http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-072-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=

For 4 gigs for £96-00 including delivery can reach 920-950mhz at 4-4-4-12 at (2.1v) or 1000mhz at 5-5-5-15 3.6 - 3.8 overclock is attainable using this memory.

Life time guarantee. EVP (Extended voltage protection).

4x1 platinum XTC modules over clock better than 2x2g modules. Also 2x2g kits tend to have poor timings in comparison to 4x1gs. 4x1gs cost £30-£40 less than 2x2g kits.
