Which 460??

Hi guys, my mate wont listen to me in which gtx 460 to get.

He games at 1050p with 1 21" monitor and ive told him he doesnt need that much memory so its a waste of money. So i told him to get this version and save himself a few quid.

Do you agree with me? Or would you just get a basic stock 460 and overclock to 800/2000?? He is on watercooling aswell.

I would remove the link to a competitor.

I would go for the 460 with the best cooling, so a gigabyte or MSI cyclone then.

You're right, a 460 with 2gb of RAM is a waste of money. Card manufacturers have long pulled that trick.

Just get a stock 460 1gb. It's enough for him. 2gb is overkill at that res.

And for his res, 2gb of memory is total overkill.
