well theres quite a few models was looking a which one best for noise/heat/performance.

looking at sapphire/his which one best?

All the same ATI reference design with the exception of Asus who have stuck their own cooler on.

Expect other makers to bring out their own variations on stock coolers over the next few weeks.

So unless you fancy the Asus, all the rest are the same.

I would say none right now. Wait a little bit and the new tech price inflation should be over and there should be a few models out with non Ati reference coolers which should help to significantly lower the temp of the card.

or grab one now along with an accelero s1...or a cheap gfx cooler in the members market hint hint

so the asus one is better yes?

No, it just has a different cooler. The Sapphire is £30 cheaper and you could fit your own, even better cooler such as -

I would go with the Arctic Cooling S1 Rev.2 + 120mm fan (Nexus, Yate Loon, Noctua etc. are all good). That's what I use on my 8800GT with the fan running at 5v/600rpm and I get temps of around 44c load.

Shame all of those appear to make it impossible to fit the crossfire connectors as they extend over the top of the card.

You can fit the HR-03 so the heatsink wraps around the back of the card making it accessible. And you can get connectors which are more like cables and bend.
