I've been Nvidia for a while now, but I'll be getting a 4870 soon, but which one is generally regarded as the best make these days? I had a bad experience with sapphire (x800 pro died 6 months in).

Or is it more a level field now and cheap = win?

Opinions please:)

the cheapest!!!

more expensive ones come with free stickers, warrantys etc

depends what your after, if u think u want little bits and bobs aswell get a higher 1 :)

Not to fussed by the bundle tbh, although I've noticed stuff like that doesn't get listed with the product anymore..

Multi tool?:confused:

Are they doing the ICQ version does anyone know, those coolers they used before were great...

HIS = win :D

i got the x2 from them love it and then made my hole rig using that tool

Go for the cheapest as they are all the same ATI reference design.

i dont think people just buy it for the tool m8 they would'nt be that sad , its a beast of a card :)

They are buying it for the tool imo, if not, then why are they not getting the Gainward for £170 when its the same card, apart from its got ATi in the middle of the fan instead of HIS, they are paying £17 more just to get a useless tool. :D

It only states one year on the OCUK page?.

First year is the retailer, pretty sure its three years overall. Gigabyte UK support is by GBT Tech 01908-362700. Some have less overall or non UK support, Asus is also 3 years iirc. Always best to check if the retailer warranty details are correct, especially if its only a few quid between them.

Got to admit, the Gainward looks like fantastic value...

is there any reason why so many people are saying HIS over the others?

Also anybody got the gainward?
