As title.

My Hiper type R is undervolting on the 12V rail (10.45V), and has just started giving serious trouble by not starting up my PC for about 30 attempts.

I know I'll get more for my money with a non-modular PSU, but I'd rather stay modular anyway (unless I can be convinced otherwise).

I most certainly want to avoid Hiper, but welcome any other decent brands. Also, does anybody know the warranty period Hiper gives for their PSU's? I've had my 580w Typr R for just over 2 years.

Ideas?

Cheers for the help/suggestion. I've dropped Hiper an email, so hopefully I'll hear from them soon (yeah right!).

I'll have a look at the Modstream too.

Well, after much searching I came up with (don't point and laugh) a Jeantech Arctic 600w modular PSU. I couldn't find anywhere with the OCZ in stock, and the next cheapest high-ish watter was about £60 inc delivery. Mine came in at £49.90.

There were some Coolermaster power supplies, but the exact one I was looking at buying failed the Tomshardware PSU stress test. The Jeantech passed.

Fingers crossed (it can't be any worse than the Hiper)!
