Which 55" TV? Or smaller?

Hi all,

Budget is around £800 - looking for a 55" TV, mainly for online streaming (Netflix, Prime video, Now TV). Will eventually be looking to connect it with a sound bar or 5.1 system.

What do you think out of the following? (also happy for other suggestions)

LG 55SK8000PLB 55"

Panasonic TX-55FX700B 55"

Sony KD55XF7003BU 55"

Philips 55PUS6703 55"

Viewing distance is around 6ft 8" - so if you think 55" is too big, then I am happy to consider smaller.

Thanks for all the information and suggestions. It's been very useful!

I have decided to hang on for now. I plan to sit directly in front of the TV so don't think I need an IPS panel and may have a better viewing with VA.

I'm not in a massive rush so will wait to see what offers come up. I'm thinking it's a bad time for buying TV's with the model refreshes keeping prices high and the old stock being mostly sold out.

However, I can be a little impulsive so I'll see how long that patience lasts

Haha well that was my original intention... Before realising how much buying a first home would cost me
