I've got my eye on a Samsung UE55KS7000 which I'd like to mount on my lounge wall. I've not mounted a TV before and as such have no idea which of the many available mounts to buy.

I don't envisage needing to tilt or swivel the TV once mounted, my TVs have always lived in the same position on a TV stand, so I guess that narrows it down somewhat.

There are still dozens of mounts at various price points out there though - is there a particular brand or model that I should be looking at?

Thanks.

I used this one for my ks7000, works fine. (I recognise you don't need swivel /tilt but can't be bad I suppose?)

Comes with some fairly hefty bolts and wall plugs too. I assume you're not mounting to plasterboard? (!) as the mount itself is fairly heavy.
Does it hold the TV pretty rigidly? I'm one of these people that has to have the TV exactly level, so if the mount lets it swivel slightly then it'll annoy me!
Assuming it's a brick wall, yes? What I would recommend is using Anchor bolts when mounting the TV bracket. It's slightly over kill but it's zero chance that bracket coming off that wall! lol

Can't really recommend brand or model. As long as it's VESA rating matches the one you need not much to it really...you don't need to spend a fortune on wall bracket these days.
It's a brick wall yes. How do I check that the VESA ratings match?

Thanks for the pics. The bracket looks pretty beefy, I prefer the look of the slimline fixed ones I've seen I think to be honest.

How do you find the TV though? Is yours the 55" or 65"? How many cables do you need to fit in the trunking you've fitted to the wall, the TV comes with a junction box I think so perhaps only power and the junction connector?
