Which 580, or wait for 6xx series

Ok, I should start off by saying that I'd prefer NVIDIA over ATI. Just had better experiences with NVIDIA over ATI.

In the interests of creating a quieter rig I'm currently interested in upgrading my 480 to a 580. Now I'm wondering which 1.5GB 580 has the quietest cooler? I'm sticking with 1.5Gb because I feel that at my current res (1920x1080), I won't be needing any more vram for the life cycle of this upgrade.

The other thing is whether it'd be worth waiting for kepler as this isn't really a performance driven upgrade as I'm having no issues with the performance of my 480.

Are we expecting Kepler to work on pci2.0? Or will it require a gen 3 mobo, as this may also influence my decision xD

if you already have a 480 then wait as in my opinion the upgrade isn't a a big enough step up to warrant the cost.
