which 64 bit linux for dual boot with vista

Hi. I currently have Xp but want to get rid of it and upgrade to Vista.

Just wondering which linux you can recommend for a 64 bit amd and if it can easily share files with vista (using ntfs).

Also, would it be too difficult to triple boot linux, vista and xp? this is just in case i find something doesn't work with vista and have to go back to xp for a bit until it does.

K then from what I've read I'll use Ubuntu but what about the file sharing between windows and linux? can ubuntu write ntfs well? or is it juust reading it/
