I’m looking for a new 65” TV and want to spend around £1000ish. Needs to have Netflix and Amazon.
I’ve heard that the Hisense U7A is decent but should I be looking at anything else?

I had the discussion of better quality screen vs lower quality but larger screen for the same price.

For my viewing distance I decided that I was better getting the larger screen.
This was a while back and haven't bought a TV yet due to delay in room decorating.
However for a 65" I had settled on a 65nu8000 which now can be had for £1149. Might drop a bit over the next month or two if £1000 is your magic number.
Not OLED but compared to what I'm upgrading from it all undoubtedly be a fantastic upgrade.

Thanks gort. £1000 isn’t a fixed budget, if there’s something significantly better for a bit more I’m happy to spend a bit more.
Will check out the 65nu8000 now.

probably the best one for your budget

i also agree with bigger screen > smaller screen with slightly better PQ

however bigger screens do tend to have more issues so pick a decent one like the samsung 8 series.

I have a Hisense 55" - very happy with it, but the software is dreadful. TV + Roku is still cheaper than a name-brand TV, but I wouldn't regret your choice.

Ordered the 65" NU8000 this morning. Was only £989 with 5 year warranty so I'm happy

Nice!
Have to give a mini review when it's up and running.
Have seen they've dropped again in price a bit since last week but not seen under £1k. Where you buy from?
