Not really too fussed about factory overclocked, however more is preferable if there's not much price difference..but in terms of silence..

Is it worth going for a dual fan 'full boat' over a single fan mini?

Thanks

Thanks, then it seems its a toss up between a £230 single fan card or a £240 dual fan card..
Pros/cons? Case is plenty big enough so size is not relevant.

Presumably they all have the feature that shuts the fans off when the cards not working hard?

Thanks

Curious why have you not considered the RX480?. Lots of good models from XFX, MSI etc . I personally have the 8GB XFX GTR Black edition great card, most times the fans don't even come on(until it reaches 60C).

I'm in the same boat really, and can't see any reason to go for anything more than this [OcUK Value card] which seems to have decent 'out of the box' clocks, and it looks OK... not that I care about that in the slightest.

As a P3D/ESP flight simmer first and foremost it has to be NV as AMD still lags behind... and I just prefer Nvidia (drivers - Inspector etc) over AMD.... I do NOT want and WILL not own an AMD card [again] :)

So, why should I spend more on a GTX1060 than £239? ... I've currently got an KFA2 GTX670 2GB which has been a stunning card over the past few years, coupled to my i5 2500k @4.5ghz.

I would probably recommend

Pretty neutral colour scheme if that's important to you. Dual fan design for low temps. And very importantly KFA2 has a UK RMA centre, which makes for speedy returns should anything go wrong. You could get a single fan card, but due to how GPU boost 3.0 works, I wouldn't recommend it as your your temps should be as low as possible (which isn't really achievable with single fan unless you really crank up the speed).

Is roughly the same price, but it has a slightly better cooler. However, MSI doesn't have UK RMA and the card does cost a bit more. It is also unfortunately out of stock at the moment.
