Well not impressed by AMD 'infomercial/livestream' and not launching so not gonna wait around anymore for possible price drops. Its been weeks without gaming and I just need a card in my rig!

For use at 1080p and 3D Vision.

Thinking this Gigabyte Windforce OC will do nicely.

is a great card for the money,

a brilliant cooler that does well in reviews for temps and noise

a healthy factory overclock

UK RMA with 2 day turnaround

Other contender is the Gainward Phantom which I think has dropped £40-50 in price??! Looks to be a great card, good RMA, good cooler

Eventually I will put whatever card I get underwater and clock the balls off it (will I necessarily get a higher clock under water with boost 2.0? 1.3ghz core would be nice:)), but at a tenner more than reference may as well get something like this and use the good cooler in the interim...

I don't really want to spend over £320

PS can someone tell me how the batman promotion works when the ocuk site says it is 'out of stock' and 'no ETA'

Screw the 770 I'm going 670 SLI now

I went from Xfire 6970 to a single gtx770 this was the first Nvidia product for me a I think it's absolutely amazing, bf3 my main game runs very well.
I did have some issues when I went for sli but now all working great ;) I'm glad I went for the 770.

Forget the 770 and buy the MSI GTX 680 at £239 including batman and splintercell. Why pay the extra for a 770 that is the same GPU as in the 680?

Because the 770 performs better and has some improvements that the 680 does not, unless you flash it to a 770 bios.

2-way SLI gtx 670 will probably be the cheapest option in regards to perfomance. You say you want to use 3dvision, that means running games at 120fps. You'll need plenty of grunt for that for modern games.

Bacground is 470 sli at 850mhz core. Got same heaven scores as 770s.

So a 770 for me should be smoother but not a generational increase in performance?

Thing with 680 is in a few months I won't be able to find one for sli (if I want to) that isn't second hand.
With 770 I would be able to.

Or I can afford two 670s from the get go which should beat a 780 even...

It has faster memory that makes negligible difference in performance and a slight overclock that the MSI has as well, so yeah essentially the same card in performance.

Just do this.

I can put together 670 sli (2GB cards) and waterblocks and be in for £500 :D

Which is 780 territory!

MSI GTX 680 Power Edition, why have one when you can have two for twice the price:D
