Which 7900xtx to get?

Nitro+ but wait about a week, I've got a few hundred due in and as such predict I will be dropping the price by a decent chunk. :)
Without sounding too cheeky when you mean decent chunk do you mean £100+ as a competitor has had it circa 8-10 % Cheaper for over 4 weeks . sold out and is back in stock again at same cheaper price.

Price is now updated and had a couple hundred arrive. :)

Could you knock another £30 off so it’s a nice round £100 more than the pulse, or to be more cheeky £80 off so it’s ~£1100 instead ~£1200?

At just under £1200 & thus 4080 price range is it worth going with the 4080 instead for the better ray tracing performance?

I still struggle to see any visible benefit with RT on to be honest.

Nah, false alarm. I went for the Gigabyte Gaming OC, which is still the same price it was two days ago!!
I expected to see a Nitro+ for less than that because that's usually my luck!
Ahh, I was thinking about getting the gigabyte x670 gaming x ax motherboard & the gaming oc 7900xtx. In the end have gone with the nitro+ & looking at the asus b650e-e gaming wifi or x670e-i gaming wifi(or it’s b650e equivalent), not decided if I want to keep my current case or get the cooler master nr200p max.

What's wrong with the Sapphire 7900XT or 7900XTX MBA that OCUK have in stock for £799 and £1199 respectively? Tempted for the Reference card looks- I presume QC for the vapor chamber has sorted out the initial problems?

There is nothing wrong with the 7900xt MBA at all, they were not affected by the QC issues, not even sure it is a vapour chamber on that card anyway.

With the 7900xtx MBA I would hope that they have all been tested by now and I am hoping it was just the first batch that had the issue. It is not really relevant with current pricing and do not buy the Sapphire 7900xtx MBA for £1200 when the Nitro+ is £20 cheaper , that is a no brainer get the nitro.
