So out of the 640Mb 8800GTS' that OCUK sell which is better value?

I know the BFG is clocked higher on *** core by 50Mhz but would I really notice that compared to the OCUK Value and the Gainward one? Or is it worth getting one of the eVGA ones?

Im not overly fussed if they come with games or software for dvd playback as i have those or I can get them.

So which would you go with on the basis of wanting a 8800GTS 640Mb?

Cheers

Kimbie

As they are all reference cards BFG or EVGA would be the ones to go for due to the lifetime/10 year warranty.

There are some around though.....have a look on google

Dont get me wrong I can find them but I like to order everything from one place so in theory it all arrives together, having said that I need to order my case from another site since the Coolermaster cases have disappeared from the site.

why not save £100 and get the 320 meg version? you still get a tshirt!

Future proofing so to speak, it has been mentioned on these forums before that when UT3 comes in and Crysis etc 320gfx memory wont be enough, granted you could SLI but you would then have 2 lots of 320 since its not a shared memory space

I order my EVGA 8800gtx this morning....I choose the EVGA one because i wanted the EVGA ACS3 Cooling

(EVGA do the 640mb gts with this ACS3 Cooling as well http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-024-EA&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=877)

Nice card!

Had a read up and it looks pretty good!

I'm going to wait for R600 release so prices drop a wee bit more I think!?

EVGA are the best because their warranty is not only huge but covers overclocking and aftermarker cooling.

BFG are second-best as their warranty is lifetime (true lifetime.)

Everything else is about even, except XFX who have terrible customer support.
