Which 8800GTX?

Go for the cheapest.
Unless you want the warranty. Then either BFG or Evga.
Or if you want goddies e.g. a t-shirt then BFG.

Keep in mind the cheapest ones usually are manufactured from the cheapest material
= lowest overclock potential and higher fault risk (though faults would still be rare)

They nearly all come from the same factory in China, only Asus and a couple of other companies actually make there own PCBs as well.

the Oem ones, don't come with driver CD's though, which i didnt know, so i can't even use my GTX atm, and I'm having real problems, getting downloaded drivers to work.

Really?

Should just be a case of going to Nvidia's site and downloading the current 8800 series drivers for you OS.

yeah, well i'm having problems with it,

but i've already got a thread about it here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17784815

but it seems to be dying out. I'm just starting to think about selling the whole system, I'm broke and have no money to replace it.

Talk about giving up so soon. How much you going to get for a non working system?

Re install your legal copy of vista and download the drivers for your GTX.

Or go to a mates and download them there and burn to disc.
