Which 980 to buy? please help

What 980 to get?

I am really getting confused over what 980 to get. I think my heart is set on the g1 gaming from gigabyte, but some freinds at work are saying to go for EVGA FTW? but it has no back plate (puts me off a little). someone told me the g1 gaming is louder than others? I am open to suggestions on any 980 as long as it's around 430 to 500 tops.

I don't get why I am having so much trouble deciding what to get. Keep going back and forth on AMD vs nvidia. I am running sli 570's and im just hitting a vram wall on a lot of stuff (1.25gb). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

holy! that 295x2 is a steal! How is it for support with games tho? I am hearing mixed things? would a 2600k at 4.5ghz run it to its potential?

Is there a reason why? Does it overclock well? run as cool as the g1?
