Which adapter > TV?

Hi, sorry for the request on the first post but I picked up some old standing speakers from the garage and not sure how / if possible to connect to a standard TV?

They are definitely a few years old, so I suspect I might need to buy a new adapter/converter?

Thanks for the prompt response - cannot go straight to TV... do you know adapter needed for an amp? Or should it go straight in?
