Hi chaps I could use some advise on what to put in my first WC setup I still have to purchase the pump but i have everything else ready to go. I have seen the Fesser 1 fluid sold in 1ltr bottles but Im not sure if this is the best stuff to buy or how much of it I would need?
My system so far is 120.2 rad, Fuzion block,150ml res, 1/2" tubing (not sure how much I will use yet) and a ddc pump when someone stocks them:)

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Yeah the Fesser seems to be the choice of the moment.

But quite a lot of people use Thermaltake Bigwater coolant as the green looks pretty neat.

Personally I use Zerex Racing Super Coolant. It's cheap and a tiny bottle lasts for ages.

Im using Feser-One. Great stuff.

That loop im guessing no more than 2 litres of the stuff.

Might aswell get 2 litres you may spill abit or when you leak test and bleed it etc might lose a bit then.

I know a place that has DDC2 pumps in stock. ;)

i just ran 5-10 % anti freeze, same water for about 3 years, i've just upgraded and checked it all before fitting, there was absolutely no sign of corrosion or owt at all.

Zerex was the best stuff the last time I looked. Fesser 1 is more for show. Not as good temperatures as De-ionised water with Zerex.

Zerex/Pentosin is great for anti corrosion and it also has pretty good anti algae properties. If you want a little more biocide then PT_Nuke(copper sulphate) or simple iodine works a treat.

Feser one has both the above properties and also uses dye to give your loop colour and UV properties. There are a few reports surfacing of feser crystalising/dye separation though which are a little concerning.

Bear in mind that the bigger percentage of additives you use the less cooling properties your water will have. 100% water is what cools best.

I've always heard that too.

Does anybody know what differences in temps you can expect between 100% water, and a 50:50 mix of water/anti-freeze for instance?

Thanks for all the advice Ive gone for the Fes1 for now as it looks like the easiest way to get things up and running without to many headaches all the last few bits and bobs are ordered and will be here monday... Im not worried, Im not worried, Im not worried.......

Thanks again
Cotti.
