Which AGP card?

hi,

im after a boost in graphics performance without going the whole hog (a64, pcie, etc etc) my current setup is as follows:

1700+ @2450mhz
NF7 V2
2x512mb mushkin blue
2x80gig diamondmax 9's
MSI gf4 ti4200 (64mb)

ive started playing a lot of newer games, and noticed the old ti4200 is struggling, my bros rig has a 6600 256mb on it and well, i think it runs fantastic, i was just wondering what would be the best choice for a agp gfx upgrade? as i am happy with the performance from the rest of the machine atm

ive no prefrence to which manufactuer but ive never owned an ati card so my knoledge is limited on them?

what do you think?

limited budget aswell so il be considering 2nd hand gear!

what is the performace like on these cards? ie will it knock spots of my ti4200?

Certainly will.. it's about 3 generations newer to begin with

It will, but its an apalling card.

Try and stretch an extra £11 if you can, then you can get the OcUK 6600 GT, a much better card.

Well heres another option I suppose, buy a 2nd hand X800XT or Platinum version, if your lucky you may get one for around £100 - £150.
