Hi all,

Got a friend with a P4 2.8ghz who currently has a radeon 9800. He's looking just to upgrade his graphics card (he knows he should upgrade all of it but cant justify the cost right now.

Which cards will give him better performance than the 9800 he's currently got?

Depends on how much money he's got and how serious a gamer he is, I recently got a 256Meg 7600GS for £65 but that might not be powerfull enough for him.
 
He wants to play CS Source at a decent res with nice fps :)

I was looking into a 6800GT AGP for him? Anything better thats not the £200 card I saw earlier ? :)
 
shop around, you may be able to get a 7600GT for that price... i know OCUK were initially selling close to that when i buy. Also check members market... there are some good deals
