I thought I had settled on a Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler but now I'm not so sure as x-bit labs seems to highly rate the TBT still.

Am hoping someone can give me advice on what is going to be the most suitable air cooler for me to use in terms of performance whilst at minimal load.

I need to cool an E6600 @ 3.6ghz :)

Thanks in advanced!

The big Typhoon is a great cooler - served me well in the past. From the reviews I've read though the Tuniq tower and scythe ninja perform better these days.

The top air cooler atm seems to be the Thermalright ultra-120 extreme .

wait for some new reviews of the thermalright ultra 120 extreme as its jsut come out. Seems to be the new king, or look at the enzotech cpu cooler, also supposed to be very good.

Im going to upgrade my tuniq to the thermalright, lap it and my E6300 and use cool laboratory liquid metal paste. That's easily the best air cooling setup possible.

I have the Tuniq tower...and i really dont rate it that amazingly.

Yes it cools your cpu fine, but as for the components around the cpu, it does jaff all...I'd quite frankly rather have a TBT or a Thermalright 120 cooler. Might invest in one soon.

same for me really. its very restrictive of airflow and to be honest it doesnt cool all that great unless you turn the fan right up
