Which Alarm - Galaxy flex?

Hi

I wouls like an alarm system for my house I am renovating. It can be quite simple and I need to try and keep cost down.

I noticed other threads reccomended galaxaxy/flex although another said flex were not sorted yet although that was in December so may be ok now? why flex over the normal galaxy? cost?

I dont mind what make but the galaxy seems to have an android app you can get messages from and look at logs remotly etc which seems useful? Does this negate the need for a voice dialer? what do I need to do this?

Would it be useful for me to post a house layout so someone could suggest what sensors to get?

lastly I noticed the flex has 2 door controls. what is this exactly and is it useful for domestic applications? My wife is worried about back doors always being locked in case some one comes in.

I was assuming the keypad would be fob operated anyway. I need it to be very easy to use day to day once programmed.

I presumed door control was like my work where an elcetro magnet locks door and you need to swipe to get in? may be its not though? just saw flex said it had it.

is the galaxy or flex worth getting? I have no experience of any panels.

my dad has a scantronics he likes but I thought the app for the galaxy looked interesting. gimik?

Any advise appreciated.

Thanks. Maybe I should go with scantronic to save some money then? Can you help with design if I upload room layout?
