well upgrading my cpu to either but dont know which soon.
1 hand says get the 6000 for 90 delivered but other says get the 5000 black ed with unlocked multi and just up the multi to 15 to just over 3gig but it has less cache but it will be cheaper.
pls dont say get conroe im on am2 so its not worth the hassle for the money thanks.
which should i get to last till another 6 months or so. going to be getting a 8800gt or the new rad 670 in next month.

why dont get E6550 ? cheap to and good ?

I'd say 6000 for the cache though. But also, there's a 65nm version of the 5200+ with 1mb of cache per core (I think, correct me if I'm wrong). If you could find that it'd probably clock higher/run cooler than the 90nm ones.

I've got the 6000+ on my system and extrememly happy with it, currently clocked at 3.1Ghz until my new Arctic Freezer arrives from here.
I've just always been an AMD kinda guy.
