Which Android phone to replace Galaxy S20+??

So my wife has accidentally broken the screen on her Galaxy S20+ on holiday and will be in the market for a replacement when we are back home!

She's always liked Samsung's and so the S22 or possibly even the S23 are likely candidates but are there any other handsets she should be considering??

If she takes a lot of photos, the Pixel line is worth considering too. S22/S23 is a solid choice still however.

Yeah my only issue with the S23 is the cost!

I'm sure it's probably what we will end up with but I thought it was worth asking!

Don't be scared to go refurbished, I bought an S21 Ultra last year and it's the best phone I've ever had.
Pixel 7 also a good choice but only because me and my mate compared photos and his were a tiny bit better.
S23 Ultra would probably be as good or better.
