Which android phone?

I’ve mostly had Samsung phones since the beginning of the smart phone era, with the odd flip to Apple now and again, but after having my iPhone 14 Pro Max for almost three years I now want to go back to Android.
I recently gave my son his first Phone, my old Note 10+ which I saved for him, setting it up confirmed my decision, I was shocked at how light and thin it felt compared to my iPhone, Android and the UI in general felt more natural to me and the s pen god did I miss that :D
So now the hard part, to choose between:
1. Samsung S25 Ultra
2. Pixel 9 Pro XL
3. Wait for the Pixel 10 (with the premium price at launch)
4. One plus 13
They all have plus points, Samsung has the S pen which I did use a lot and like and has the more squared sharper edges (I’m not keen on the iPhones rounded screen)
I love the Pixel for its stripped down software free of the Samsung bloatware which I almost never used (the Mrs has Pixel 8)
And the Oneplus 13 intrigues me, it has insane battery size and charging speeds, great screen and top tier processor and lots of RAM, I’d just be concerned would it lag behind with software updates etc (I’ve read a few reviews online saying some of the text is still in Chinese although this could have been rectified by now)
Any opinions based on experience? Especially Oneplus 13 owners, cheers.

S25U. You’re traditionally a Samsung user and One UI is excellent. The Pixel 2nd but it’s not out yet and you’ll pay a premium, once released as you say. There are some great S25U deals. You can’t beat the screen with the anti glare and those cameras.

The s25U is great, and the discounts make it crazy cheap.

Screen is great, unless you use a screen protector and you lose out on the anti reflection though

Just got the OnePlus 13 .

Very good phone, hard to find on contract but sim free it was 683 from their website with my 5% discount, with 512 GB of memory as well.

I must admit I am leaning towards the S25U, and yes there are some cracking deals now I couldn’t believe it when I seen them, considering I was paying nearly £70 a month for my iPhone when it was in contract.

Yes they are hard to find on contract, if I was to go for one I would probs just bang it on the credit card and keep my £10 monthly sim deal.

I went from Samsung to Pixel and the lack of bloat was much more significant than I expected, could never go back. 7 years of updates was a strong pull also, we'll have to see how that pans out.

I paid like £300 + "free" tablet and £16pm

pretty much all the software is bloat, too much to list
copies of apps for no reason other than samsung want it to be their app
other apps that samsung would like you to use, or deals they've done with other companies to bundle the apps

Honestly not noticed anything really. Only one that stands out is their own gallery app, v the Google one. But then every phone company does that. I uninstalled one that was annoying.

You could say the same about Google using their own apps? I think the installed apps pixel v samsung is about the same these days.
