Which application launcher for Windows 7

Having just tested Windows 8, one thing that I really miss is full screen start menu.

What I want you can still have on Windows 7 by default - I know. I want to be able to press the start key and start typing to get the application I want. With the start menu full screen I just found it better. I found it easier to move my eyes to the left than to the bottom left.

Anything that will emulate this behavior on Windows 7?

If it is just that you prefer looking left rather than bottom left, maybe you need a higher monitor stand
