Which ATI 6950?

Hello,

Does anyone know which card is 'better'? This is disregarding the 3 games included in the HIS.

MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC Twin FrozR III Power Edition 2048MB - £233.99 (this week)

Perhaps what can be considered is 'better' is, which has better cooling? Better overclocking potential?

Also how advisable is it to wait for the new gen of ATI cards?

The MSI is better, the Twin Frozr 3 cooler is real quality, and it should overclock well using MSI Afterburner.

As for the new cards, no set dates yet, but the general feeling is maybe as soon as December, or as late as March next year, really up to you whether to wait or not.

The MSI is what I have. Awesome card. Coupled with the Intel Core i7 920 it really does handle anything thrown at it really really well.

I'd go for the HIS tbh, i have the TFIII and it's a crap clocker, won't unlock either, and no voltage tweaking with afterburner......
