Which Ati graphics card to go with my system

I have
Amd X4 640 (planning to overclock)
4gb ddr3 ram
Corsair hx520 psu
CM690 II case

I have a crossfire x8 capable motherboard for future addition of a card if need be.

Which card would match my system?
Would a 6950 be overkill for it?

I need a 6000 series because of 3d bluray playback

But I do want to use it in 3d gaming mode at 1280x720 on a projector.

Budget doesn't allow unfortunately.

So credit card had to come out. HD6950 on the way.

I'll wait a month to see if there are no side effects to the bios flash (wasn't there a similar Nvidia bios flash a while back which turned out to be a bad idea) before i go ahead with it.
