so, just rebuilt my system to now use two loops (1x GPU loop 1x CPU loop). CPu loop is using the left over Tharsis Red I used for the original loop, but I want to throw in a different colour this time.

I'm looking at a choice of three:

- Nebulae Blue
- Galaxy Purple
- Extinction Green

Extinction Green looks pretty damned nice to me, but the blue would match the red better.

Opinions?

lol mate you spending a fortune. When i would do once you finished with Aurora. Take the liquid. put it though a coffee filter. The liquid you will be left over is 2x Strong X1. So basic you'll be left with a good water cooling normal fluid so it doesn't go to waist.

Pro tip, thanks :D

It's all in the name of fun, I'd be spending that £15 on take away if I didn't buy a bottle of Aurora lol. The new double loop looks pretty good, if I do say so myself, will look even better once I get Nebulae Blue in the DI loop.

Hi
what hose did you use with your aurora?
Cheers

It was from another website dedicated to water cooling, it was branded as "1/2" ID - 3/4" OD Thermochill Flex Hose (Tygon Equiv) 1m", of which I purchased 5m, used around 4m over the past months experimenting with things. The entire loop probably has less than 1.3-1.5m of tubing.

With Tharsis Red i found the tubing to be too thick to see the Aurora through, but with Nebulae Blue this isn't an issue as the colour and pearl density are much more pronounced and it shows right on through. One thing to note with this coolant is that the pearls do build up on the tubing after a month, it's very easy to rectify: Drain the coolant into a clean container (the old bottle is perfect) ensuring you get as much as possible out (blow down one of the tubes) > Fill with very hot (tap) water > run for a day changing the water every couple hours (don't run rad fans :D) > Refill once the pearls are gone. A quicker method is to run wet kitchen towels through each tube, bit it means dismantling the loop.
