GPU section seems to be the place for benchmarks

Which software would you recommend I use, to stress test CPU and GPU ?
i want to see how much my PSU pulls
i just did a Timespy, and it pulled 390W on my system in sig

want to push it further

why not ?

if i know im hitting 600W, i know my PSU is is doing its job
it turns on and works, its doing it job.
if you want to test the psu buy a tester....

what happens if you put a sully load on the PSU and it fails and kills EVERYTHING.. will you then feel better knowing you need a new psu and EVRTHING

this just sounds a bit silly

CPU:
Cinebenck R23 (single and multicore, free)
3D Mark CPU test (part of Timespy and Port Royal)
Prime 95 (I use this through an app called CoreCycler that checks for instability, free)

GPU:
Heaven benchmark (free)
3D Mark Firestrike (cheap)
3D Mark Timespy (cheap)
3D Mark Port Royal (Ray-tracing, cheap)
3D Mark Speedway (Path-tracing, cheap)
Cyberpunk (if you own the game)
Shadow of the Tomb Raider (likewise)
Forza Horizon 5 (likewise)

Memory:
Memtest 86 (free)
Prime 95 (free)

[In my opinion all 3 games listed with built in benchmarking tools are worth buying and playing if you can get them for a decent price]

Personally I run my PC with different Fan speed setups (FanControl is a great free app) and overclocking parameters in the BIOS for my CPU or through MSI Afterburner for my GPU. I then run these benchmarks and screenshot the results. I can then compare the change in performance with faster fans, additional GPU core or Memory MHz or PBO settings or temperature targets. Then I can see using HWINFO64 how much power I used, what temperatures I got and work out where the sweet spot for me is.
