Bit stuck here chaps. Basically the three blackberry's Im choosing from are the Storm, Bold and 8900 Curve.

Price isn't too much of an issue but I just can't decide. Which in your opinion would be the overall best choice based on:

- I text most
- Would like to use the internet on it
- Has the most stable software

Thanks :)

I had a storm from work and it sucked something awful. Unresponsive UI and cheap, bulky feel. I'm much happier with the Bold.

If you don't need it for corporate email, the iPhone beats it hands down in asthetics, erogonics and technology.

As Sparkey has commented, unless you need it for corporate email, the Iphone fits the bill and I will be getting one myself as soon as my Voda contract is up

Hows the iPhone for texting? I was under the impression it wasn't too hot compared to having a keyboard?

Email isn't essential but prefered :).

texting is very good on the iphone as long as you use proper english and dnt spel ting lk dis. If you decide to text like a 12 year old, then be prepared for a lot of frustration. You will need a lot of key presses to reach the extended keyboard characters plus the auto correction will go bananas.

For my sins i work with these things, we pulled to bold of sale due to software for over a month, although they say fixed ill defo go with 8900 (javlin) 100% :D

Ermmm you do realise that you dont HAVE to use a blackberry for corporate email??. Theres a plan called BIS which most if not all networks now provide;). Allows you to still get push email without having to be on a BES which is the corporate email system.

Ive had my Blackberry Bold since Dec and its the best device ive ever had the pleasure of using and ive had a shedload of phones over the yrs and nothing as of yet can come quite close to the Bold...its an absolute joy to use...has a hardware keyboard so typing out emails/texts are much more easier. It might be a bit big though but i dont find that to be a problem.

I had the storm myself back in Dec as well and although its a stunning piece of kit...the software isnt quite up to the hardware plus it lacks WIFI....although newer revisions of the software is making the device much much better than it was first released.

Another one to consider is the 8900 Curve which is a really nice device...similar to the Bold but is lighter, thinner and not as wide as the Bold. Only thing that puts me off about it is the lack of 3G but like the Bold it has WIFI and the screen again like the Bold is simply gorgeous.

Ii suggest you pop over to a Vodafone store and play with the live models...u dont have to be a voda customer...i was in a voda shop the other day with the missus and shes going for the 8900 curve herself...finally converted her:D lol. But they had live models of the storm, Bold and the 8900 so she tried them all out.

But seriously id stay away from the Storm for the time being...im waiting for the 2nd gen Storm to come out...rumours are that it will be a slider with touchscreen and hardware keyboard...plus it will have the form factor like the HTC Touch Diamond Pro and Xperia X1.

I've got a Bold and a Storm, I'd have the say the firmware on the Storm is not very stable at the moment, that applies to both the official .78 and the leaked .90 Having said that the phone has only been out a short while and I'm sure it will be sorted in the near future.
As for the Bold it's a much more stable animal, it just depends whether you want touch screen or a proper querty keypad.

iPhone to be honest, the internet on it is literally a in a league of its own with the gui.

Texting is more than fine, find I can get some pretty good speed with the tough keyboard.

Oh if your going for the iphone then you need to remember that it doesnt have cut and paste, no mms...crapple want u to use email:rolleyes: and no video recording either. You can however get those functions if you jailbreak your phone but the problem being is that everytime you want to update your firmware to the newest one...you will need to wait till they jailbreak the new firmware.

8900.

I upgraded from the pearl 8120 and this thing is in a league of its own! The screen is so vivid and high res, it's gui is excellent and speedy. The full keyboard takes a little getting used to but after a couple of days it will be fine.

MMS? Does anyone actually use this! You can still receive mms messages, just can't send them (without jailbreaking). Although imo emailing is a much better of sending pictures and easy to do (and free).

Generally the jailbreak only takes a week or two to come out for the new firmware, not a massive issue.

I use my iPhone for email and can say the lack of cut and paste hasn't bothered me yet.

out of all of them? the bold for sure. if you txt a lot then the iphone is out of the window - you will never get decent speeds on a touch screen. the storm again has the same problem.

I'm getting the 8900 Curve in the next week or so - it's lighter and thinner than the Bold, but does lack 3G - but for me that doesn't matter; both seem awesome.
