Ok i got a asus p5e3 deluxe and a xfx 790i ultra delivered to me this morning. Any reccomendations which board i should start overclocking with first ? I am not running sli and am gonna be trying to get max fsb stable. Whichever card gives me this I will be keeping and the other is gonna go back. I think the only think that could hold me back back is the memory im using (due to budget i cant get any more mem untill next month) im using 2x1gb kingston 1375mhz. Now with my Ultra board i know that i dont have to push my memory at all as memory speed is independant from fsb. With the x38 chipset im not sure how low i can lower the speed of the memory and will it allow me to lower enough so that i can bring up the fsb in the 500's. Processor is a e8400 that i have gotten up to 4.75ghz on air with a super pi of 9.7 secs. But it wasnt prime stable. Max prime stable on my old and now dead 780i was 450 x9 4.05ghz.
Which board should i start on first ?
