Hi guys,

I have two spare (ish) PC's which i am going to sort out so that i have the best specced one, i am going to use it in my office for a work PC and also to install some VMs on, Multiple ESX servers with Multiple Windows servers under these. so i will need a fair bit of ram (which i have), ill also be doing a LITTLE gaming when not too busy or on a break.

I have a Q6600 and a Q6700
Asus P5N-5 SLi and P5K WS
Palit 250GTS and Asus poo 5650 (but i do also have an Asus 560Ti that i might use if it doesn't get uses as a Physx card in my main rig.
Antec EarthWatts 550 and Thermaltake Toughpower 750 Modular
Multiple Hard drives (4x 500gb, 2x 1TB) the P5N only has 4 sata ports :(
Genius 5.1 Sound card (couldn't get my on-board working with 5.1 in my last office)
About 18GB of RAM
a Dozen or so SATA DVD Drives (ideally i want two in)
An Antec P182 or AeroCool ExtremEngine (google this one)

I suppose my obvious question is what board is the better option?

P5N-D SLi with only 4 sata ports
or
P5K WS with no SLi and 6 sata Ports

P5K by miles. Intel chipset was way better than the nVidia one, especially if you plan on OC'ing the quad.

Also, using the 560Ti as a PhysX card... serious waste.

Ok mate, thanks very much for your advice.
560Ti will be paired with the Q6700, P182, Thermaltake PSU, 12gigabots of RAM.
