Which Board?

Need to update the machine and going to base it on the E8400 Wolfdale as it seems good value and plently quick enough. Going for a 9800 card with at least 4 gigs of RAM. Not sure on the board though, should I go X48 chipset or nForce 7. Not sure on the benefit I'd get from either. Cheers

Don't know if this is true or not, but I have heard that nForce chipsets suffer from a few memory compatability issues (esp. OCZ, if I recall correctly) so you may want to bear that in mind.

I've got Corsair XM2 at the moment which i'd probably carry over. Any ideas which boards within thoe series would be the best.

To be honest the X48 boards are not worth the price premium over the X38 boards. They offer very little extra for the money. On top of that, being new the bios will more than likely be buggy as hell. I would just get the Asus Maximus Formula X38.

I certainly would'nt be getting a NF7 board. One of the shop guys on here said just a couple of days ago that they have had quite a few returns.
