Which boards?

Hi all,

Looking to build two systems over the next few weeks. One for myself and one for my brother in law. I may decide to OC mine in future and I like the look of these two boards:

They are both the same price, which is the better board? I was leaning towards the Z87X OC?

For my brother in laws, I was planning on something like:

or a cheaper option would be:

Now he won't be overclocking, but incase he does will the cheaper D3HP do the trick? What are the benefits of the MSI board over the D3HP?

Any advice would be great!

For you get the OC board.

For your bro get the D3HP (will do 4.6Ghz±) with the free cooler.
