Hey all,

I'm looking for a new ATX case, coming from an M/ATX setup, but I've not looked into ATX cases for many years.

Every time I like the look of a case, reviews seem to mention it's weakly constructed, flimsy etc..

Preferences:

* White (though happy to consider others)
* Air cooled build
* Mesh
* Not too big if possible
* Strong/Quality build quality
* Not too expensive

If anyone has any experience and/or suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Thanks in advance :)

I've owned a bunch of Corsair cases and they have never let me down. Probably priced a little more than some similar cases but I have always stuck with them.
Not contacted them for awhile but their customer service always used to be top notch for issues too.

Im not convinced they do them anymore... i have an original Fractal Define somewhere its built like a tank, never seen a case like it again.. Also had a Phanteks Enthoo Primo. a lot of case for the money.. I have had recent phanteks cases and they are just cheap stamped steel like the others. I wouldnt mind the Fractal North if i was going for a new ATX. Ive got 2x Lian Li cases , although they look great. they arent built great.

The best built case ive come across recently was a Jonsbo D31. good solid panels and they make an ATX version

Thanks for your reply.

I do like some of the Corsair cases, though I keep hearing they are flimsy and badly made? So not sure?

I'll certainly have a look at some in more detail :)

Thanks, agreed, older cases were really well built, I also had an Enthoo Primo, big boy case :D

I'll take a look at the Jonsbo, I do like the look of some of their cases but was worried they'd be like the Kolink cases, badly made etc..?

Jonsbo are overlooked. and i can 100% say the D31 is a cracking case.

I think Lian Li are quite well known for their build quality - currently have an A3 (mATX) and it's probably the most solid case I've had.

You need to take things at a case by case basis (pun not intended), brand anything is a bad way of looking at things.

How much are you looking to spend, what theme do you want, or what specific factors do you need with a case beyond the initial listing?

I could list five different cases off the bat but none of them might fit the bill, and I could list from £50 to £500 to boot.
