I'm about to move house and need to decide which provider to go with. Currently with Talk Talk which is pretty poor. Options seem to be Sky or Virgin (previous occupiers were with Virgin). However, I've checked www.samknows.com and it tells me to expect ~0.5Mbps as my new house is about 3km from the exchange. Therefore, can I realistically expect to get a decent service from anything other than Virgin?
