Which broadband provider? (Stoke)

So after many years of being behind the rest of the world, Longton (Stoke On Trent) has got fibre.

A neighbour says his is getting installed (Sky) in a few days time and has been estimated 36-42mb speed.

I need unlimited. I want fibre broadband.

Currently with PlusNet on a rolling monthly contract, as my 12 months with them ended May but I did not want to enter a new deal knowing full well fibre was due.

Any recommendations? I have a landline but never use it.

There's nothing wrong with PlusNet for FTTC.

TBH as they all use the same infrastructure up to the exchange base your decision on Support, price and features. I can't say I'm unbiased but I've had no problems with my Sky Fibre.

Stayed with PlusNet.
They gave me a discount price of £27.50 (standard £15 line rental price then fibre for just £12.50) for 2 years.
