Hi, all.

I'm looking to upgrade my monitor which is mainly used for pc movies & gaming/ps3.

I currently have a 22" Benq V2200Eco which is wall mounted at the exact end of my bed, so my viewing distance is sat on bed by the headboard.

I would prefer wall mountable but is also not essential.

OC'UK currently has these:

AOC E2795VH 27" Professional LED Monitor - £230.39 inc VAT

Hanns.G HZ281HPB 27.5" Widescreen LCD Monitor - £239.99 inc VAT

Iiyama ProLite E2710HDS 27" Widescreen LCD Monitor - £239.99 inc VAT

Asus VE276Q 27" Widescreen LCD Multimedia Monitor - £259.99 inc VAT

Samsung S27A350H 27" Widescreen LED Monitor - £259.99 inc VAT

Now I would prefer to save as much money, but dont want a really pants monitor. I know the AOC is new but it does look ok for the price.

I recently went for the slightly more expensive version of the Iiyama, only difference was the adjustable stand and different connectors. It's a great monitor and I'm happy with it, read quite a few reviews before taking the plunge and it rated quite well. Hopefully some others can update you on the other monitors.

I have used an Iiyama Prolite E2710 for around 13 months now and have had no issues at all with it. I've used it for gaming and movies and have been very pleased with performance - as good as I had expected from the many reviews I read.

I'm looking to upgrade it but only because I fancy splashing out on a 27" 3D monitor when the new ATI cards are out :D

Another Iiyama Prolite E2710 user here, very happy with it - been going strong now for 9 months (touch wood)

I came from 22" as well and the significant screen size improvement was very welcome indeed!

I have contacted them, but they are waiting for a response from AOC, I will be returning it unless AOC replaces it.
I might pay the extra and get a ASUS 27" if I have to send it back.

Same :), I also came from a 22" and it's awesome!

You may want to consider sending back the AOC under DSR and replace it with the Dell U2412M. It isn't a 27in, but it is a 1920x1200 res, 16:10 24in with an E-IPS panel. It also comes with Dell's excellent 3 year (replace next working day) warranty and is also covered by a premium panel guarantee - where if you get a single bright pixel then Dell replace it for you under warranty (the replacement should be at your door the next working day).
