Hey guys,

I am trying to locate a budget laptop and was hoping for some help from you guys :) I was originally looking at Lenovo and Dell as I know certainly with Lenovo they are very good at the minute. Basically here are a list of the requirements:
  • No more than £500, the less the better.
  • 500GB or less storage (Low storage is fine).
  • Around 15 inch in size.
  • Good battery life.
  • Mainly used for office, web browsing and streaming.
  • Thin and light (I know this is quite difficult and I'm not looking for an ultrabook).
I know this is a lot of requirements but just trying to give you guys as much information as possible!

Thanks :)

Thanks for the response.

I see what you mean about size etc. it's heavier than the one I already have!

It would probably be a deal breaker to be honest, but thanks anyway :)

just exchanges a samsung laptop for an Asus S400E, 14" touch screen, not had much time to play with it yet but seems a very nice machine for the money

again not sure on battery life yet either

What would you view good battery life to be and in the weight department what are you looking for in terms of heaviest weight?

SAMSUNG 905S3G Screen is 13' so smaller than you wanted but 1.6kg, battery life very nice and 128GB ssd

Unfortunately I can't post thewebsite but their is a good laptop saving website that will probably be just a case of filtering the integrated graphics at £500 you'll probably get quite a nice one
