Any thoughts really appreciated....thank you.

and what ssd do you reccomend ?

Yes is for gaming m8

My ninja edit skilzzzz are above, for gaming a i5 760 is where its at.

I have a Crucial 64GB SSD, and am happy with the capacity, if I had a 40GB SSD.....I think I would cry.

Just "650W" means nothing- what brand is it? Did you buy it recently?

The OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB that's on offer atm for £93.99 is a very good choice, and doesn't cost a lot more than your 40GB one.

So the connectors that come with the gfx cards will be ok then?...
or will i need to buy some more.......also will the ssd need a caddy of some sort?

If you picked the "non lite" coolermaster 690mkII case, it comes with a SSD caddie built in, the lite version of the case is missing this+some fans.

If your PSU is that top one, then Hardware secrets gave it a good review - http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/OCZ-StealthXStream-600-W-Power-Supply-Review/451 so I do strongly believe your fine using it, especially as the ATI 6 series cards are a lot more power usage freindly than say a Nvidia equivalent.

The molex power adaptors that come with the cards will be ok, just ugly to look at.

would this be better as a cooler than the Titan Fenrir?

Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3)

Depends how far you want to overclock your CPU? that H50 starts to suffer at around 4GHZ, the titan Fenrir will go higher.

But will you be overclocking?

A i5 760 at 4GHZ is silly speed!!!

Its really your choice!!! just a bit more money at the end of the day, but will look good in the case, as I have a few back issues of Custom pc mag, and have seen the CM 690 II fitted with that H50-1 water cooler and its a very neat fit and look.

Yes i do want to dabble in overclocking a bit.......so would u stick with the titan then?

I happen to have a titan fenrir, but then I only paid £30 for it new.

Its really your choice, as I said even a 4ghz i5 760 isn't shabby, that would fly through any game, but will you even be going that high?

Luckily you have also selected ram that has a low height profile so the Titan fenrir will clear the tops of the ram, the H50-1 doesn't suffer from any size issues at all as the cpu header/pump assembly is very compact, so will fit any type of ram sticks.

The choice is yours.

Also 1 last thing m8....is there any benefit to having 8gb of memory compaired to 4gb?

Not for gaming.
