Which Build

I've been trying to build a new PC for a couple of months now but other commitments have stopped that. Now I finally have the money and nothing stopping me so which build should I go for:

Which system would you go for, for gaming?

I would go with the Haswell based on the savings that you've recycling into a bigger SSD. Should be slightly better per clock, better IM.

However for productivity I would be inclined to invest more on the X79

Any particular reason you're going for a 1TB SSD? You could go for something smaller and put the savings towards another 7970.

Because then I will have one drive- simplicity/no wires/ everything on my PC will be SSD speed. I did think about it, but that also means a new PSU for the Haswell build so it doesn't really add up cost wise.
