I am getting a 4K tv and want to use my pc with it. I already have a 4K monitor that I connect to using the Display Port.

Now there has always been a lot of confusion around these HDMI cables. I have HDMI cables at home rated for 1.4a. Will these suffice for hdmi 2.0 bandwidths? Bear in mind that I need 4K@60hz so it must be able to carry this signal.

Any recommendations are welcome specially if you have a first hand experience.

As long as it's rated for high speed it should work.

There's no such thing as a 1.4a cable or a 2.0 cable. The HDMI chipsets have versions, not the cables.

I got some of these as they look decent and they are very well made given the price, but as said above, the speed rating is all that matters and these should be more than capable

Do you have a graphics card capable of HDMI 2.0? (I'm assuming from your project log you have 980s which do).
