This seems to be a question with about a billion different answers and the opinions are all over the place. Fusion360 seems to be the most popular, but it also seems to be the one that's gradually restricting more and more functionality beind a paywall as it ages.
FreeCAD also seems quite popular but has a much steeper learning curve.
Ideally I'd like to print my own design in the next week or two, but no idea which software to try.
What's the consensus on here?
