Which calendar app most similar to s-planner?

The one thing I miss about samsung phones is s-planner. Is there a similar alternative?

What calendar apps are people using?

I just can't use S-Planner. It's so cluttered. Using Google calendar at the moment. It's very easy to use, and looks good.

I'm fairly confident if I extracted the s-planner apk it wouldn't work on a non-samsung phone.

Google calendar has weekly and monthly views. Click top left, and choose from drop down menu.

Check out digical. Granted its not cheap but has the features of business calendar but looks (imo) far better and has the all important monthly view widget with descriptions rather than meaningless little bars denoting events.

Yeah you can't have that view on the widget though.

I use Google Calendar even though I have paid for Business Calendar.

When you click on a date on a calendar widget on your home with Business Calendar set as default it loads the app but doesn't go to the date like it does with S Planner or Google Calendar which is annoying.

Seems Google Calendar doesn't have the actual event names on the month view in those screenshots. IMO that's one of the best features of S Planner

If you want a calendar with month view, as well as stating the event names on the widget, I found Touch Calendar to be best for that (need to use the paid version for the widget though): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.olilan.touchcalendar&hl=en

You can customise the way the widget looks (colour theme, transparent, what day to start the week with, how many weeks to show, etc). I don't use it anymore though as I got bored of the month style view .

Google Calendar is the best, it also allows you to see your schedule even if you do not have access to the internet. With offline access, you can view a read-only version of your calendar no matter where you are...

Google calender is easy to use which packs with a lot of features. It can be accessed on the web and with many a program and devices..
