Which Call Of Duty?

Hi there

When it comes to COD games I have been totally oblivious to them and never played one, never even looked at the game, a review or anything until I began to see COD WAW 2.

So, all that being said which COD game would you say I should buy from the last 2? COD 4 or WAW?

WAW, modern warfare games generally suck. Cod 4 isn't bad, but it can't beat WAW or and of the other COD series.

lol MW all the way ... I really didn't like WAW, maybe I played with MW so much I couldn't adapt to WAW.

i havent touched COD4 since COD WaW hit my HD

for me they are both great, i just prefer the WWII setting and weapons, but i do think WaW has the better maps ...

grab them both but get WaW first .. but then again maybe wait until Operation Flashpoint 2 is released as that looks like a COD beater !!

CoD, CoD2, CoD4:MW/MW2 = Infinity Ward = Win.

CoD3, WAW = Treyarch = Sucks.

I've not really played either 4's or WAW's multiplayer much, but as far as single player goes, numero 4 wins easy. Number 4's story and presentation is much better whereas WAW although quite good, it is mostly just about endlessly shooting bad guys until the credits roll.

why would you play single player. They are nothing more than minimal add ons for the online play.

Cod 1 or CoD 2. The rest are truley bad, its now just a console game with unlocks yo.

Thanks for the replies.

Seems there is no real consenses as to which one is better. I would want it for MP once SP has been finished.

What is the community like for both COD 4 & WAW? Plenty servers with reasonably intelligent adults that play on them as opposed to annoying children shouting cobblers down the microphone?
