Which camcorder between £140 and £300 would the forum recommend?

What features are useful and are any worth paying a bit more for?

The Panasonic SD800 is available at the moment for £300 which is a really good deal.

1080 at 50fps

i just got this one last week and its great so far. they only have display ones remaining is what I was told at one store but at my local managed to pick up their last boxed piece.
