Which Camera out of these two?

Which out of these two would you think was the better option? Is the 600d a lot better than 550d? It seems to just have the swivly screen, I think the 55-250mm lens might be more useful though

The only major difference with the 600D is that it has a flip out screen, other then that it uses the same sensor and the image quality against the 550D is more or less identical.

I'd go with the 550D the extra £130ish isn't justified at all for the 600D.

Bit of everything really, holiday photos, landscapes, night shots. I'd quite like another zoom lens in addition to the 18-55 as i'm off to South Africa next month on safari so it will be useful to have a decent telephoto.

I'd go for the 550D and use the spare money towards a telephoto.

Not really a big difference between the 550D/600D apart from a flip out screen and wireless flash control.

how much can you find the 550D with 18 - 55 IS for without the 75 - 300 cos its a terrible lens. as stated above, with the cash you dont spend for the 75 - 300 in that two lens deal you can put towards getting either the 55 - 250 or the 70 - 300 as they are both better zooms for your cash (55 - 250 better value over the 70 - 300 though)
